Pain can be lulled with love.

"Blessed is he who considers the poor" The lord delivers on him in the day of trouble.
Do not hesitate to be with your neighbors in heavy needs and poverty.
Be merciful and you will find treasure in Heaven.

This baby broke his hand and suffered enormously.
His legal name is Brian Kuria and Christian name is Maxmus.
Our mission took care of him, we took him to the hospital, and now we take care of him. He's from a very poor family, with many brothers. His parents had no financial means to take him to the hospital. Now we are glad that the little one is medically treated and we are waiting for the healing of Christ the Lord!
Join us and help us take care of these Christian souls by donating a little financial help to our mission.

As the academic terms kicks off, please consider donating in our PayPal account in our website www.stireneorthodoxmission.org and you will receive much blessings.

St Irene Orthodox orphanage child donation initiative!

Give something however small to the one in need for it is not small to the one who has nothing. Neither is it small to God if we have given what we could. Alexander one of the orphans in St Irene Orthodox mission and orphanage is seven years boy in class one
He has been surviving with $1 daily,
$7 weekly
$30 monthly
This caters for his food.
He also spend $15 monthly for clothes/shoes ,and education stationeries.
So basically he spends $45 monthly.
This has enabled Fr Constantinos Eliud to bring up such holistic and God fearing Alexander.
Please with your kindness spare your one bottle of soda or cake and donate your $1 to our mission Website www.stireneorthodoxmission.org PayPal account.

To facilitate feeding program in st Irene orphanage of either Alexander or other 30 children that stay with Alexander in the orphanage.

Whosoever will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow me. (Mark 8, 34)

It's hard to grasp the cross of another unless we have gone through this experience ourselves. However, with the help of our own struggles and the cross that we each take, we can learn to appreciate the struggles that others take.
Although we can not know our neighbor's personal struggles, we can try to understand the cross of our brother, approaching with humility. The sincere recognition of our own weakness will help us to understand his weakness, and so we learn to share the crosses of each other.

If we fail to recognize our own weakness, then we can not really share the weakness of others. We do not help them carry their cross, and they are prevented from wearing ours. We remain alone in the tears of our isolation.

In the Cross of Christ, all our crosses are united. In His love, we will raise them together; In this shared pain, we find the grace and joy of God.

Fr Constantinos has been working very hard at the mission. Yesterday he visited a family whose eldest child has cerebral palsy. There are also several younger children all living in very basic rental housing. The mother has requested that Father Constantinos assist by taking the younger children into the mission to assist with their education on all levels, as well as housing and pastoral care. In order to continue to provide this level of service, Fr Constantinos and the mission require assistance with funding, by way of sponsors and donations. Currently there the classroom also serves as a church and the property is being rented. Fr Constantinos is aiming to buy land and construct purpose built dwellings and a well to ensure a clean water. Please donate whatever you can. No amount is too small.

Our PayPal account is open to everyone in our mission website
